no not hanbo. Knock off of kali. Hanbo uses a cane size stick. The stances and tactics are way different. hanbo use teaches to use the stick with two hands in basics what he is using are filipino rattan sticks light weight for really fast striking. He is not showing anything japanese. Typical instructor who can’t differentiate various asian cultures.

he said: horse stance; karate chop; I saw kali,arnis,escrima. The only thing corresponding to ninja was that basic roll after being pushed. You can find that in any trial class teaching taijitsu. ( and that roll is not even a solution, its an exercise for adaptive purposes.)
