These five rules to better understand taxation were delivered by John Fox during his conversation with Social Policy Connections guests on March 18 2009, at the Yarra Theological Union in Box Hill.
John Fox spent 36 years wrestling with tax laws as a lawyer in Washington, D.C. Professor Fox is a frequent media commentator on the distortions in the US tax system. His articles on whats right and wrong with the U.S. revenue system have appeared in The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, and many other newspapers and internet sites. He presently teaches Winners and Losers, a course on U.S. tax policy at Mount Holyoke College.

Professor Foxs lecture focused on Making taxation more equitable. His talk illustrated the need for major systemic tax reforms as a matter of social justice.
