Mafia video walkthrough: Omerta Part 2
This is from the PS2 version of Mafia. Filmed this version since my graphics card on my computer is crap, it’s easier to film with a console/TV then on a PC, and this is the version I grew up with. This is covers the second part of Mission 10: Omerla.
Here is the original walkthrough I wrote for this mission:
Mission 10: Omerla
Objective(s): Get some guns from Vince, Talk to Ralph, Talk to the stoolies to find Frank, Acquire the account books, Kill Frank
Get some guns from Vince
Run up the steps to Vince and talk to him. Grab the Sawed-off Shotgun and Colt .45.
Talk to Ralph, Medium-Easy (considering he can’t spit out what he’s trying to say lol)
Run down to the auto-yard and talk to Ralph who’s working on a car. He’ll show you how to steal a Schubert extra Six 4-door. Pick the lock, get in, and drive out to the street.
Talk to the Stoolies to find Frank
Drive to Chinatown and talk to Biff. When he’s done go to the Gallery on Central Island and talk to Little Tony. When he’s done go talk to Idiot Joe under the Galliano Bridge behind Lucas’. Get out of the car and have no weapons equipped. Joe gives you a hard time, beat the crap out of him until he talks. Drive to the location on the map and watch the cinematic. Follow Frank until you’re out of the city.
Kill Frank
Get out of the way of the black car. Equip the Colt .45 and run over to the door but don’t go through it. Instead run to the middle door and open it. Shoot the guy straight-ahead. Then go through the third door and shoot the guy with the Tommy Gun (he doesn’t have much ammo for it so you might get it you might not). Go back through the first (that was already open) door and shoot the guy behind the counter, equip the Sawed-off and shoot the guy around the corner. Grab the Snob Nose .38, Smith & Wesson Model 10, .45 Ammo, Smith & Wesson Model 27 Magnum, and use the First aid Kit if you need it. Run out the door into the airfield, go right and head toward the hanger (the closer one, not the one with the plane in it). Run toward the green container on the rights side oh the hanger. Go around to the back of it (near the wall) and sneak up on the guy here. Shoot him with the Shotgun (or Tommy Gun if you got one back at the terminal). Grab his Tommy Gun and equip it, shoot the guy across the hanger near the red container, then shoot the guy near the gray container next to you. Grab the Thompson Ammo and head to the end of the hanger, shoot the guy in the tan over coat, then his partner. Grab their Thompson Ammo and run out of the hanger, go left and shoot the sniper in the red tower to the left. Grab his Rifle and head toward the three buildings with blue doors on them. Run down the right side of the furthest building (the one to the right) and shoot the guy here, a guy at the other end of the parking lot will at you shoot him when he gets into range. Do not shoot the guy guarding Frank you might hit Frank by accident! Run down the right side of the building to the far left. When the guy gets into range and you think you have a good shot, shoot him with the Thompson or Rifle. Grab the Thompson Ammo and run over to Frank. Watch the cinematic.
New objective: Find Frank’s family
Run toward the white building. Shoot the two guys at the door and grab the Magnum Ammo. Run down the corridor of the building and shoot the guy making a call to the police. If you don’t kill him now you’ll have to shoot like ten cops later. Use the First Aid Kit if you need it and talk to the woman with the little girl. When she’s done run back to Frank and press “action” to release Frank. Take him back to his family and watch the cinematic. Run all the way to the terminal and grab the tickets (if you didn’t kill the guy who made the call then you’ll have to fight those cops now). Run all the way back to Frank and his family waiting outside of the white building. Watch the cinematic.
Acquire the account books
Run all the way back to your car and drive to the city bank. Get out and walk into the bank. You can now go back to Salieri’s or you can go Lucas’.
Sub-Mission 2: (Mission 10)
Objective: Teach Stan a Lesson
After Lucas is done talking get in your car and drive to the destination. Un-equip your weapons, hold the “attack” button down until the energy bar is full then walk over to Stan. Punch him with the “power punch” then with a load of normal punches (you have to attack first or he’ll kill ya with his hits) until he runs away. Drive back to Lucas and talk to him.
New objective: Steal the car in Oak Hill
Drive Oak Hill and make sure there are no cops around, pull out your Thompson and shoot the guy in the gray coat. Run over to the Thor 810 and pick the lock, get in, and drive back to Salieri’s. (Note: When you get to the garage you will have to delete a car. Delete the black hearse from Mission 8, also known as the Lassiter V16 Charon.)

The song playing …
The song playing during this part of the game is “Sing It Way Down Low” by Louis Prima. The entire song is not played in the game however, only an instrumental section. The full song includes singing by Louis. It took me a long time to find the song, so I thought I would spare you the same burden.

I don’t know the exact song’s name. But I googled “music from the game Mafia” and found a site with the entire soundtrack and listing. I hope that helps.
